The Stirk Window

South ambulatory - Unveiled 11 April 1971 by his son Atholl in the presence of family members and Old Kingswoodians at Reunion.

It commemorates among other things Uncle Sid's consuming passion for fishing.

The window depicts the incident when, after the Resurrection, Christ met his disciples on the beach. They had toiled all night unrewarded but with the dawn came Jesus and, under his direction, an unprecedented catch.
