The Roderick Window

South ambulatory - Unveiled 17 March 1974 by his daughter, Anne Holmes, in the presence of the family.

Roderick had been a man of wide influence in Bloemfontein business circles and especially the motor trade, as well as being a loyal Old Boy.

The window depicts the child Jesus over a group of boys in the school uniform walking across Knight Field with the turf wicket and Dold Block in the background.

The inscription reads: ' And the child grew and waxed strong' (Luke Ch 2 vs 40). The wording at the base is: John Roderick 10.1.1907- 5.8.1968.
