Interhouse Music

The Interhouse Music Competition is held every two years and 2016 was Interhouse Music Competition year!

Rehearsals run for about three weeks prior to the Competition. Each house is allocated 30 minutes to present a set piece and a vocal piece involving every member of the house, an ensemble and a solo item.

The 2014 Competition was closely contested and a wonderful occasion. Mrs Denise Lesar, our Competition judge, was very impressed with the variety and standard of music produced. Everyone really got stuck in and gave awesome performances. Gane House won the competition with Jagger, Chubb and Wood all following close behind.

This year's Competition was held on Tuesday 2 August in the College Chapel. Mr Sibusiso Mkhize was the Competition judge and the evening was, once again, a great success. The talent at Kingswood is truly remarkable. Gane came first, then Chubb (climbing higher every time), followed by Wood and Jagger.
