Campus Development and Sustainability

Kingswood is committed to preserving the rich heritage of our historic campus while embracing innovative, sustainable solutions to ensure its future.

Donors can play a pivotal role in this vision by supporting campus development projects, which include the refurbishment of historic buildings, the creation of new, state-of-the-art facilities, and the advancement of environmentally sustainable initiatives for energy and water efficiency.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have already taken significant strides towards energy autonomy. The first phase of our solar project was completed in 2024, with the installation of 730 solar panels, reducing our dependence on the national grid by 70% and significantly cutting our carbon footprint. These efforts, alongside water-saving technologies and infrastructure upgrades, are essential to securing a sustainable future for Kingswood, our community, and our world.

Bequest / Legacy

For generations, Old Kingswoodians and friends of the College have chosen to leave their legacy at Kingswood through meaningful bequests. These thoughtful gifts have played a vital role in shaping the development of our campus and securing its future for generations to come. A bequest is more than a financial contribution—it is a lasting testament to your belief in Kingswood’s mission and values.

If you would like to explore how you can make a meaningful contribution to the Centenary Trust in support of Campus Development, including through a bequest, please contact our Foundation Office. Together, we can shape a future as rich and inspiring as our history.
