On Friday 14^th February 12 of our elite athletes participated at the Sarah Baartman High School Championships which took place at the Westbourne Oval athletics track in Port Elizabeth.

All our athletes gave another good account of themselves on the day. Some outstanding performances on the day were:

Dwayne Pharo winning both 100m and 200m with 10,31 and 22,48 seconds, respectively. To see a video please click here

Usivile Zweni was 1^st in High Jump, clearing the height of 1,95m his personal best this season.

Jessica Pautz came 2^nd in the u17 girls 100m hurdles, clocking 17,45 seconds.

Chulu Kalipa came 2^nd in under 19 Long jump with a distance of 6,31m

Munangi Kamwendo came 1^st in under 14 Long jump (5,51m) and 2^nd in 100m hurdles (14,81sec)

The above named athletes are now legible for selection to participate in the Eastern Cape Athletics Championships to be held in East London from the 5^th to the 7^th March.
