Welcome to Kingswood Senior School

Welcome from the Senior School Head

There has never been a better time to join Kingswood College. The introduction of character building into our curriculum and the launch of our Leadership Institute and implementation of our ICE (Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship) philosophy puts us at the forefront of the educational space. What our pupils need to truly succeed in life is at the core of all these initiatives.

Tracy van Molendorff , Deputy Head: Senior School

Our mission to educate our pupils for life is a strong driver for the environment we provide for our senior pupils especially. Our curriculum is wide and varied, encompassing academics, sport, cultural activities, leadership and spiritual development, environmental and outdoor programmes – all of which are positioned to help build the strong foundations our pupils will need beyond the school gates.

Our pupil’s holistic development forms a central pillar to their time at Kingswood, and a strong presence of spiritual and emotional guidance permeate their lives at school.

Academically, Kingswood College follows the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) syllabus which affords excellent opportunities for study at tertiary level, whether locally or abroad. Exciting subjects such as coding, robotics and multimedia technology are also available. We are proud of the excellent results our students have achieved over the years and believe that exceptional teaching, pupil support, guidance and small class sizes have proved the optimal environment for full engagement on an academic front.

With world-class sporting facilities, professional coaching, access to life-time sports, and incredible music school programme, every pupil has the opportunity to flourish and extend their individual talents.

All of this is underpinned by our traditional, strong core values and ensures a holistic education for all our pupils. Preparing Kingswoodians to contribute to society in a meaningful manner, to be leaders in their spheres and change agents for the betterment of all.

Warm regards,
Tracy van Molendorff
