Kingswood girls hockey travelled to Queenstown to play against QGHS in what was a both enjoyable and successful set of hockey fixtures overall.
Kingswood played 6 matches winning 3 losing 2 and drawing 1 in what proved to be a competitive day overall.
The Kingswood 1st girls hockey display proved highly entertaining with Kingswood walking away with a 7 -2 victory away from home showing great continuity and teamwork in both attack and defence.
Amy Mills proved a constant threat and scored 2 goals sharing the same feat with Zoe Fraser who also bagged a brace showing good positioning and touch in the D.
QGHS showed great courage and fight back in the 3rd quarter scoring 2 excellent goals as Kingswood high level in the 1st 2 quarters seemed to have dropped due to QGHS raising their game.
Kingswood then regrouped at the break and regained their high level showing great passing and continuity to finish of a great performance.
