BKB, that has a wide and deep-rooted footprint across South Africa’s agricultural landscape, recently elected Geoff Kingwill (OK 1979) as Chairman of its Board.

Geoff, who joined the Board in 2014 held the position of Vice-Chairman and is a former chairman of Cape Wools, the well-known South African wool industry body and also chairs the International Wool Textile Organization Sustainability Working Group. He has extensive experience in the broader agricultural landscape which includes the areas of primary production, genetic improvement, value chain management, commodity marketing and industry organizational as well as business knowledge.

Kingswood in fact has a big footprint in this body because Chris Hobson (OK 1990) also serves on the BKB Board as a non-executive Director serving on the HR and Social Ethics and Retail Committees.

Both Chris and Geoff were head boys at Kingswood and, dare I say, both were in Wood House!
