Our U13A cricketers took on a UK touring team on Tuesday, 21 March and there was much excitement and hype around this fixture.
Our boys were sent into bowl first, our bowling was good and we managed to restrict Papplewick to 138 runs in 30 overs. Our boys came into bat and lost some early wickets but managed to stabilise with the partnership of Caleb Henry and James Stocks towards the end of the innings there was a flurry of wickets with some good decision making and big hitting our boys passed the required total of 138 with just 4 balls to spare.
The final results was a win for Kingswood by 2 wickets. James Stocks was announced as Papplewick’s man of the match for his heroic 36 runs.
