On September 26, 2023 Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) Lilitha Mahlati and Ivili Group launched a new factory in Epping, Cape Town, manufacturing jeanswear to both the local and global markets.

The Ivili Group is a “pioneering African Textiles Group” which consists of both animal fibre processing (Ivili Loboya) as well as garment manufacturing (Ivilitex).

The Ivilitex Garment Manufacturing factory uses state of the art technology and supplies high quality denim to various South African retailers. With already 68 people employed (mainly black women), the company is set to grow from strength to strength.

Lilitha was also voted as one of the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans in 2021. Congratulations on all your fantastic achievements, Lilitha.
