The much-loved Gauteng Golf Day took place on Friday, 16 May. With almost 70 players taking to the course, the day was wonderfully supported, and filled with Kingswood spirit!

The Kingswoodian Club Gauteng Branch hosted their annual Golf Day on Friday, 16 May at the beautiful Parkview Golf Club. Nearly 70 golfers teed off in perfect conditions, making for an exceptional afternoon of golf.

A popular highlight was the much-enjoyed “Putt for Wine” competition, followed by a relaxed and enjoyable evening spent with players, families, and fellow Kingswoodians.

Special thanks to Beki Ngulube (OK 2006) for expertly running the evening’s programme. Carey Hobson (Director: Advancement) addressed the guests ahead of the prizegiving and also led an auction of two items, raising funds for the Legends Fund and the Lebone Centre respectively.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the prizegiving featured some fantastic prizes. The title of 2025 Champion Kingswood Golfer and the trophy went to Ben Hough (OK 2023). Congratulations, Ben!

Events like this don’t happen without dedicated support. A heartfelt thank you to Carey and Dee Hobson for bringing up prizes and memorabilia, and for helping run the day so smoothly. We also appreciate Megan Erasmus (OK 2005) for travelling up to join us and representing the Kingswood Foundation.
