The Kingswoodian Club Gauteng Branch once again hosted the event, with golfers teeing off in great spirits and enjoying the opportunity to reconnect with fellow Old Kingswoodians and supporters. With excellent weather and enthusiastic support, players enjoyed a fantastic afternoon on the fairways, making the event another successful gathering for the Kingswood community.

A sincere thank you goes to Bheki Ngulube (OK 2006) for expertly managing the MC duties throughout the evening and ensuring the programme ran seamlessly. We also extend our appreciation to Leon Grove (College Head) for his address to guests and for sharing updates and reflections with the Kingswood community.

The evening concluded with an engaging auction led by Carey Hobson, which raised valuable funds for the Legends Fund. Participation from Old Kingswoodians also saw Chubb House earning some well-deserved points, adding an extra element of friendly competition to the occasion.

Our gratitude goes to the generous sponsors whose support contributed an outstanding assortment of prizes for the day’s winners and participants. Congratulations to Mziyanda Mangi, who claimed the winning score and earned the title of this year’s Gauteng Golf Day champion. A tremendous achievement, well done!

Events of this nature rely on the commitment and generosity of many people behind the scenes. Special thanks to Dee and Carey Hobson for bringing prizes and memorabilia and for their support in helping the day run smoothly. We are also grateful to Danel Pruissen and Lauren Leask for travelling up to take part and proudly represent Kingswood and the Old Kingswoodian Club.

Finally, our heartfelt thanks go to Sam Morrison (Hon OK) for the enormous effort, dedication, and energy she continues to invest in making the Gauteng Golf Day the success it has become year after year. Your commitment to the Kingswood community is deeply appreciated.

To everyone who attended, sponsored, played, and supported the event, thank you. Your continued involvement strengthens the Kingswood network and ensures traditions like these continue to thrive.
