Tax Benefits by Region

Tax Deduction

Kingswood College is a Public Benefit Organisation and has Section 18A status.  Bone fide donations (as per SARS guidelines) are therefore tax deductible. As a South African taxpayer you can enjoy a tax deduction for donations up to 10% of your annual taxable income.

B-BBEE Points
Should your Company be required to make Corporate Social Investment payments in terms of B-BBEE legislation, Kingswood College is able to provide the required documentation to satisfy the B-BBEE requirements. Learn more.

To ensure that our current and future USA donors still have a tax-efficient way of donating to Kingswood, we have been able to secure the use of the Rhodes University Trust USA, their 501 (c) (3) trust in America, so that our donors may still take advantage of the tax benefits provided to USA tax payers while continuing to contribute to College. Sponsorship Opportunities

To meet the needs of a developing and progressive school Kingswood relies on the support of the wider community. Sponsorships play an important role in complementing the funds raised to enrich the lives of the pupils and their experiences at Kingswood, and in many instances help defray costs for parents whose children represent the school at higher levels.
