World record ram price of $50,000 for Andrea Vagg (nee van Niekerk) OK 2002, Stud Manager at Dell Dorpers & Dumisa & African White Dorpers – one of the top Dorper breeders in Australia.

The reserve senior champion of the 2020 Dorper National Show for Dell Dorpers in Moama, Australia (exhibited by the Van Niekerk family) sold for the world record Dorper ram price of $50,000 at Dubbo last Friday, the 4th of September 2020.

Based in Moama, Andrea has established herself as one of the top Dorper breeders in Australia in recent years and her passion and dedication to producing this top bloodline has certainly paid off – well done Andrea.

“The ram, Dell Dorpers 190321 (ET), was sired by Burrawang Dorpers 140630 of pure Kaya blood and from one Dell stud’s top breeding ewes, Dell 140076, the grand champion three years running of the Australian Sheep and Wool Show, Bendigo, Victoria, in 2015,16 and 17 and was the supreme cleanskin exhibit, the first Dorper sheep to gain this interbreed award in 2016.
