This past weekend our KC The Kingswood u14A cricket team had a good win against Hoërskool Framesby on Saturday.

Kingswood won the toss and elected to bat first on Knight field. Kingswood got off to a measured start but soon found themselves 30/3 after 14 overs.

Ross Thompson (28) and James Meyer (19) batted well in a partnership of 50 runs for the 4th wicket. Kingswood were eventually bowled out for a total of 115.

Kingswood knew they would have to bowl and field with great discipline as they set out to defend their modest total.

The Kingswood team were really good in the field. David Louden (4/12) and Luke De Villiers (3/14) were the pick of the bowlers and together with Rogan Goliath (2/20) they bowled Framesby out for 80.

Kingswood won the match by 36 runs.
