On Thursday, 16 June 2022 the annual Legends Day Golf Day was held at The Belmont Golf Club, in Grahamstown. The glorious day produced perfect golfing conditions.
Once again superbly organized by Gregg Rippon, the Legends Golf Day provides an amazing financial injection for the Legends Fund – a fund that provides financial support for deserving children to attend Kingswood. Thank you Gregg, for everything you do to make the day possible.
Each year the Legends Golf Day heralds the start of a festive K-Day weekend and this year even more so, being the first K-Day since 2019!
K-Day weekend saw the OK Club hosting nine reunions and, in the throes and activity of the day, an unfortunate oversite occurred: no photos were taken of the Legends Gold Day! We were told on very good authority that the event was, once again, superb and something all the players will look forward to again next year.
Speaking of the players, an event such as this also cannot take place without you and your support. We are grateful to those who travelled great distances to take part and those who continue to support all our local events such as this. We are indeed lucky to have such a Kingswood community.

What is the Legends Fund?
The Legends Fund is a bursary fund that specifically aims to recognise well-rounded young people of exceptional character who hold the potential to become remarkable Kingswoodians, leaders and role models. Children who embrace the spirit of what it means to be a Kingswoodian, and seek to make a difference in the world around them.
Through the Legends Fund you can give as little as R150 per month and know that, because of our collective giving, you will make a remarkable impact on a child’s life, who will in turn enrich the lives of those at Kingswood, each and every time you give.
