The prizes awarded at Awards Ceremonies that are held each term form part of the formal recognition of pupil achievement at Kingswood College. This award was awarded on the 28th of July 2022 at the our end of term Assembly.
Tadiwa joined Kingswood College in Grade 8, quickly establishing himself as a prominent player in his team.
Having missed the bulk of the previous two seasons due to the pandemic, Tadiwa made a significant impact in the 1st Team as an u17, Grade 11 pupil which is very impressive given the break in rugby.
Tadiwa’s work ethic and dedication towards his conditioning and skill development ensured that he started the season with a flourish making several memorable line breaks and scoring some impressive tries.
Tadiwa’s running threat to opposition teams is based a combination of physicality, speed, evasion and passing game making him a dangerous attacker to contain.
Tadiwa’s qualities extend to the defensive aspect, where he was required make decisions as an outside centre which is regarded as the hardest position to defend in rugby. Tadiwa’s physical attributes are complimented by his humility and desire to improve making him a role model to the school.
Tadiwa’s performances earned him selection to the Eastern Province Craven Week Team, and we are delighted to award Tadiwa Honours for Rugby.
