The Collett, Goss and Botha families filled the cricket field on the 14th of January when Kingswood took on Stanleys.
On the 14th of January, Kingswood 1st XI took on The Stanley Cricket Club at the Grahamstown Schools Cricket Festival. Among the players on and off the field included three generations of Collett’s: Matthew (Grade 12), Hilton (OK 1995), Hilton (OK 1966), Hugh (OK 1966), James (OK 1991) and Jack (Grade 11) (all OKs and current Kingswoodians), Dave Goss (father) and son Brad (Grade 12, 1st XV Captain), as well as the Botha brothers, Shaun (OK 2019) and Jared (Grade 11).
As a family school, Kingswood cherishes it’s “Golden Thread” which runs through generations, and how evident this was at this cricket match. We thank these families for their ongoing loyalty to their Alma Mater.
