Join the Midlands Branch of the Old Kingswoodian Club for camping, camaraderie and cricket at The Mill Cricket Ground in Bedford on the 29-30th of April.
This fantastic event is back on the calendar, and there is much excitement. This year, there is even more on offer, including camping, birding, hiking, a bring and braai, cricket and a delicious meal served by The Butcherbird.
The much anticipated cricket match between Old Kingswoodians and Old Andreans will take place on Sunday. The teams will feature players from the Midlands and Makhanda areas. Whether you are playing in the match, or would like to find a spot under the beautiful oak trees and enjoy the beauty of this unique cricket ground – this is an event not to be missed!
What do you need to know:
SATURDAY, 29 April:
Camping: R200 per campsite
Families are welcome to camp on Saturday night. You can arrive any time from 14h00 on Saturday afternoon. There are campsites around the field and there is access to shared ablution, kitchen, and braai facilities as well as power points. Wood will be provided and there is a large communal braai area for a ‘bring and braai’ in the evening.
SUNDAY, 30 April:
Adult Lunch: R130 per adult
Kids Lunch: R50 per child
There will be a cash bar open on Sunday for the Spit Braai. Entry from 10h00. Remember to bring your picnic blankets and camping chairs! Cricket match on Sunday between Old Kingswoodians and Old Andreans.
