On Friday, the 27th of October, the Kingswoodian Club met in Bedford for the first time since 2019. The result was a wonderful evening together with friends.

After four years of not hosting this much loved event – the Midlands Branch of the Kingswoodian Club met again on Friday. Despite the busy time of the year, the community rallied, and a wonderful evening was spent together at the Duke of Bedford Hotel.

The College Head, Leon Grove, as well the Head of the Junior School, James Hough were able to attend. The President of The OK Club, Chris Hobson and Active Vice – President and Vice – Chair of Council, Richard Gaybba also enjoyed the evening with us. We also welcomed Old Andrean Representative, Charles Wienand and his wife, Robyn. We thank them all for taking the time to be with us.

The Duke of Bedford treated us to delicious meal, whilst Mr Grove spoke to the guests about Kingswood, and the vital role that communities such as the Midlands play in the life of the school.

Thank you to the Duke of Bedford for hosting us and to each and everyone of our guests. It was wonderful to spend time with you all again. This event is definitely back in the calendar – and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
