The annual Kingswood Cathcart Golf Day was once again a great success, as close to 40 golfers took to the course for a great day of golf, followed by a wonderful family-fun evening!

After the success of the golf day in 2023, it was once again time for the Kingswood Cathcart Golf Day at the Cathcart Country Club on the 26th of July 2024.

Our Midlands Kingswood family got together for a great day out on Friday. The day began with a shotgun start at midday, which saw close to 40 golfers teeing off at the Cathcart Country Golf Club. A successful round of golf for some came to an end, and families joined in for an evening of Kingswood camaraderie.

The prize giving took place around 6pm. Some wonderful prizes were handed out, as well as some lucky draw prizes, including sought after kiddies lucky draws. This created palpable excitement amongst all the children at the club.

The Miller family provided delicious steaks at the braai afterwards, which certainly warmed all the guests on a chilly evening. The rest of the evening was enjoyed by everyone, where stories were shared, and laughter filled the air.

Our sincerest thanks must go to the Cathcart community and all who came out to support the golf day. Your community continues to be a vital cog in the broader Kingswood wheel. Your continued support of our beloved school is deeply appreciated. Finally, our special thanks goes to James (OK 2008) and Johnno Miller (OK 19179), who put the golf day together and generously sponsored the steak braai.
