The OK Club hosted its annual Matric Luncheon at the Wyvern on Friday. This event has become part of the symbolic end to the Matric’s journey at school, and the beginning of their new journey as Old Kingswoodians.

The Matric Luncheon has long been a highlight of the year for the OK Club, as the Matrics begin their symbolic journey from pupils of the school to alumni, as members of the OK Club.

This year, the Matrics were addressed by Mr Carey Hobson (OK 1974 & Director: Advancement), Mrs Amy Webster (OK 2008 & Alumni Relations Officer) and Mr Chris Hobson (OK 1990 & President: OK Club). The pupils were introduced to the OK Club, explaining its significance to the school’s community. Pupils and invited guests were treated to a delicious meal prepared by the Wyvern Club.

The OK Club looks forward to officially welcoming the Class of 2024 to the OK Club on Sunday, as they walk up the Jubilee Pathway to receive their OK Club ties and membership certificates from Mr Chris Hobson (President: OK Club) and Mr Richard Gaybba (Active Vice President: OK Club).
