On Friday evening, the Kingswoodian Club got together in Graaff Reinet for a wonderful evening of storytelling, reminiscing and laughter!
After a brief pause in 2024, the Kingswoodian Club gathered once again in Graaff-Reinet, hosting a wonderful evening at the Coldstream Restaurant and the Graaff-Reinet Club. As one of the oldest branches of the Old Kingswoodian/Kingswoodian Club, the Karoo Branch continues to be a cherished hub for bringing the Kingswood community in the region together.
More than 60 guests joined College Head, Leon Grove; Senior Head, David Wright; and OK Club President, Chris Hobson, for the occasion. The warm, balmy evening set the perfect scene on the veranda, where Hestie and her team at Coldstream treated everyone to a spread of delicious food. With a full school fixture against Volkskool the following day, the evening saw strong support—made even more special by a group of parents who traveled a night early to be part of the gathering.
Spending time with our branches always reignites the Kingswood spirit, and there was no doubt throughout the evening that it remains as strong as ever!
A heartfelt thank you to Hestie and her team at Coldstream, as well as Mark and his team, for their warm hospitality. We also extend our gratitude to the staff who attended and, most importantly, to each and every guest who made the effort to be there. It was truly a night to remember!
