The Kingswood College community is sincerely grateful for the generous donation of beautifully crafted picnic tables by Unique Timber Plastics at the end of 2025, which are already enriching daily life on our campus.

These new picnic benches have been thoughtfully placed in spaces where they will be most enjoyed:

• One picnic table in the Pre-Primary playground, creating a welcoming outdoor space for our youngest little Kingswoodians.
• Two picnic tables at Van Vuuren Village, home to our Junior Boarders, where boys can gather, eat, and connect.

Whether it is a Pre-Primary child enjoying a snack in the playground, or junior boarders sharing a meal and stories after a busy day, these benches will serve Kingswood pupils for many years to come.

Created using 100% recycled plastic, the cornerstone of what Unique Timber Plastics manufacture, this gift aligns with Kingswood’s ongoing sustainability journey by modelling responsible, durable choices in everyday campus life.

Unique Timber Plastics recently shared their own reflections on this initiative, noting their desire to give back to schools with strong values, growing communities, and a commitment to shaping young minds. We are honoured to have been included in this donation alongside St Andrew’s College and are deeply grateful for their investment in spaces that encourage connection, conversation, and belonging.
