Kingswood College is honoured to announce the establishment of The Michael Bandey Scholarship, a prestigious new scholarship made possible through the generous endowment of the WEM Foundation. This scholarship has been created to honour the legacy of Mr. Michael Bandey, a beloved alumnus, past educator, and true master of Kingswood College.
On Friday the 16th of November 2024, Kingswood College celebrated a significant moment in its history with the final Trustees meeting of the year for the Kingswood College Centenary Trust and the Kingswood College Scholarship and Bursary Trust. This special occasion marked not only the conclusion of the year but also the commemoration of two major anniversaries: the 30th anniversary of the Kingswood College Centenary Trust and the 15th anniversary of the Kingswood College Scholarship and Bursary Trust.
Kingswood College had the distinct honour of hosting Mrs. Betty MacMillan, Mr. Jim and Mrs. Darcy Heild, and Mrs. Harriet Norgren on the 19th of September 2024. As benefactors through the WEM Foundation, they have played a crucial role in supporting Kingswood’s scholarship programme over the past 25 years.
In a significant step towards environmental sustainability and energy independence, Kingswood College celebrated the completion of its new solar plant on Saturday, July 13, 2024 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Led by the College Council Executive, the event marked a milestone in the school’s 130-year history and its commitment to a greener future.
