The Kingswood College Foundation is proud to share the continued growth of one of our meaningful legacy scholarships – the Trevor Stewart Scholarship.
Old Kingswoodian, Mr Trevor Stewart (OK 1963, Chubb) has expanded his support of this scholarship, ensuring that it can now sustain two full scholars at any given time. This important step strengthens a legacy rooted in gratitude, generosity, and a deep belief in the life-changing power of a Kingswood education.
The Trevor Stewart Scholarship was established to support the children and grandchildren of Old Kingswoodians who demonstrate both potential and financial need. Through Trevor’s ongoing commitment, the scholarship is structured to fund recipients from entry into the senior school through to Matric, subject to the scholarship criteria.
At present, one of the two scholarship places is already supporting a current Kingswood pupil. As a result, one fully funded scholarship place is available for the 2027 intake, with applications now open.
Applications for 2027
Applications are invited from eligible candidates applying for Grade 8, 9, or 10 in 2027. In keeping with the values of the scholarship, applicants are assessed not only on academic performance, but also on character, leadership potential, and a willingness to contribute meaningfully to the broader life of the school.
