At Kingswood, even the smallest additions can help grow the biggest dreams.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of Old Kingswoodian Mark Charlton (OK 1999) (assistant coach of the Dafabet Warriors and current Kingswood parent) together with a group of fellow OKs and friends, the Junior School’s Dold Field now boasts a charming new addition of some white PVC picket fencing.
These pickets may be few, but their impact is meaningful – helping shape the playing space where future Kingswood cricketers will learn, play, and dream big.
The project kicked off with the purchase of 22 fence panels, stretching just under 50 metres in total. The team behind the initiative hopes this will be the start of a growing project that continues to develop over time.
A heartfelt thank you to Mark and all those who contributed to making this idea a reality. And a special mention to Buster Brotherton (OK 2006), who has pledged to have several additional wooden picket fencing (some already delivered) made for the field in addition to the PVC pickets already bought.
At Kingswood, big dreams often start with simple acts of generosity, and this project is a perfect reminder of that.
