The prizes awarded at Awards Ceremonies that are held each term form part of the formal recognition of pupil achievement at Kingswood College. This award was awarded on the 8th of February 2021 at the Academic Awards Ceremony and reflects the results from the 2020 Third Term.

Academic Honours can only be achieved during the examination terms of Grade 11 and 12 and a total of 580 marks (an 83% mark average) must be achieved. This is a phenomenal achievement and we would like to congratulate Daniel on getting his Honours for Academics.

Daniel is an exceptionally diligent young man who possesses a well-developed curiosity and an excellent level of skills across his chosen subjects.

In his dedicated approach to his academics, Daniel fully digests any material that is presented to him and consistently applies himself to the highest level. His personal motivation to achieve is praiseworthy as he consistently strives to understand every concept and produce outstanding results. He shows grit, works timeously, always hands his work in, and makes sure he has any concerns sorted out long before they become an issue.

Daniel is not afraid of embracing his own creativity and sense of humour. His writing is unique, engaging, and above all, entertaining. He is capable of making insightful and critical observations, bringing a fresh perspective. This all allows Daniel to contribute proactively to an environment in which ideas can be shared and grown.

Having fulfilled the requirements and in acknowledgement of Daniel’s approach to academics, he is awarded Honours for Academics.
