Kingswood Junior pupil, Kyle Heyns took part in the the Harare Swimming Championships in November and December last year.

The results of records broken at the championships were recently released and we must congratulate Kyle who broke both the 50m and 100m backstroke records. Both these records were last set in 1998. The new records now stand at 33.75 and 1.14.43 respectively.

Kyle, who hails from Zimbabwe, joined us this year and had a stellar swimming season. He managed to break 5 records at the Junior Championship Gala. One of these records had been standing for over 40 years!

His talent can be easily compared to that of swimmers five years older than him.Congratulations Kyle! We look forward to watching your talent and skill grow and flourish at Kingswood College in years to come.
