Our Kingswood College 1st XV got off to an immaculate start yesterday scoring two immediate tries to take a 14-0 lead vs Queens College at the Graeme 150th rugby festival.

The challenging conditions halted any further momentum as Queen’s College fought back to score in the first and start of the second to reduce the score to 14-12.

Playing into a strong breeze in the second half, Kingswood were under immense pressure often in their 22m area, however their results defence kept them in the game.

Kingswood finished the game with a flurry to score in the closing stages and let us seal a memorable win 21 – 12.
