In May, Kingswood was honoured to receive a special donation from Brian Miles (OK 1973, Chubb House), who gifted the school his family’s heirloom piano.

The instrument has found a new home in Jagger House, where a dedicated room has been converted into a piano practice space for pupils.

Brian, photographed with Houseperson Graeme Spring and Head of Jagger House Nick Godwin-Pritchard, has a long history of service to Kingswood. He has served as President of the Old Kingswoodian Club and as a Trustee of both the Centenary Trust and the Scholarship and Bursaries Trust, reflecting his steadfast commitment to the College community.

Brian and his wife Colleen continue to live on their family farm outside Adelaide, and their sons, Robert (OK 2004) and Jonathan (OK 2006), are also proud Old Kingswoodians.

This gift continues the Miles family’s legacy of giving back and will surely strike the right note with the boys of Jagger House!
