This past week has seen our campus abuzz with painting, dancing, singing, filming and creating various pieces as part of our annual Cultural Week.

The week began last Tuesday with the screening of House films, showcasing the many talented performers and film producers in our midst.
Friday Evening was our Cultural Week Exhibition and on display were Artworks:, both timed and progress pieces, sculptures made from recycled materials, photography as well as screening of each House’s dance video.

Each House also created a podcast and these highlighted the depth and maturity with which our young Kingswoodians are able to tackle societal issues.

We concluded the week with the Inter-House Music competition last night, and what a night it was. Wood House stole top prizes, however, the depth of talent and the camaraderie in our Chapel was second to none.

The aim of this week is to highlight the wealth of talent that Kingswood has to offer, as well as the coming together of the entire school to celebrate the cultural aspects of school life.

As our music adjudicator Mr Johan Pretorious said: “Music is a common denominator that brings us all together as humans”.
