We extend our admiration to Mrs. Wilmot, who is retiring from teaching after devoting an incredible 18 years of loyal service to our Pre-Primary school.
Bridget’s association with Kingswood started over 50 years ago, starting as a 5-year-old pupil, then a prefect, a parent, a teacher, and becoming Head of Department of the Pre-Primary. She even married an Old Kingswoodian, Justin.
We pause and acknowledge your loyal and dedicated service to our Pre-Primary school.
For nearly two decades, Bridget has been a foundation in the lives of hundreds of young children and their families. She has not simply taught; she has nurtured, guided, comforted, and encouraged. She has helped our youngest Kingswoodians take their very first, crucial steps on their educational journey, always with unwavering love, boundless patience, and meticulous care.
Her connection to our College has been longstanding. She has watched pupils enter the gates of the Pre-Primary, grow through the Junior School, and eventually leave the College as young adults. That is the legacy of a true educator.
We give thanks to Bridget for her unwavering commitment, kindness, professionalism, and the extraordinary warmth and spirit she has brought to our Pre-Primary community. She leaves behind a legacy of deep love for our school that will echo for years to come.
We wish Bridget happiness and all the rest she so richly deserves.
