At 4:30 am on the 24th of August, 2023, Stuart Donnachie (OK 1997) set off for a 35 km swim through icy-cold water across the North Channel for what would be a 12-hour swim!
Last weekend saw the Gqeberha OK Club Branch get together for an afternoon of padel! Old Kingswoodians, friends and family enjoyed a wonderful time together for what is sure to become a much anticipated annual event.
Old Boys, Old Girls and friends of Kingswood are invited to join for a bit of Sunday-Funday on the Old Grey Padel Courts in Gqeberha!
The PE/Gqeberha OK Club Branch has been busy over the last few weeks, having organised both a family day as well as a golf day.
Kingswood legends and brothers, Derrick (OK 1943) and Maurice (OK 1946) Bradfield met in Port Elizabeth recently to celebrate Derrick’s 97th birthday – what an amazing milestone and he must be one of our oldest Old Kingswoodians around.
The annual Port Elizabeth Golf day will take place on Friday 15 February 2019. OKs, parents and past parents are all invited to enter and please bring your golfing friends along. If you are not a golfer you are encouraged to join us for a few refreshments after the golf.
