The annual Gqeberha Branch Kingswood Golf Day took place at the Little Walmer Golf Club in Port Elizabeth on Friday, 22 August 2025, where around 60 golfers braved the blustery conditions to enjoy a day of camaraderie and competition.
After a great success in 2024 – The annual Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) Golf day is back on the calendar for 2025. OKs, parents, past parents, and friends of Kingswood are all invited to enter for a round of 18 holes.
At the end of August, Emma Stirk (OK 2015) attended and presented her research at an entomology conference in Kyoto, Japan.
Mark Charlton (OK 1999) has recently been appointed as the assistant coach of the Dafabet Warriors in Gqeberha, bringing this Old Kingswoodian back to the Eastern Cape!
Hurricane winds on Friday proved to be no match for the Gqeberha Golfers, families and friends, who came out in their numbers to support the OK Club Branch event at Little Walmer Golf Estate.
