Our Kingswood College 1st XV got off to an immaculate start yesterday scoring two immediate tries to take a 14-0 lead vs Queens College at the Graeme 150th rugby festival.

Our Kingswood hockey clubs have had a strong start to the sporting season, and we look forward to following our teams as they take on the hockey season.

Our rugby club has had a successful start to the season with four out of our five games being won.

This past weekend our 1st XV and U16 team traveled to East London to take part in the Grens Rugby Festival. This was the first outing of the rugby season.

17 of Kingswood Junior swimmers represented the Albany Swimming Team at the Inter District Gala at Merrifield Preparatory School in East London on Thursday.

Another great weekend was had for the water polo club this past weekend. Our U14 girls departed on Thursday for the Pitcairn Cup Water Polo Tournament hosted by Reddam House Constantia in Cape Town.

A thrilling Championship Gala was held on the evening of the 14 February (Valentine’s Day) at the Kingswood College Aquatic Centre. 

We congratulate our Kingswood Boys Tennis team on winning the 2023 Knowling Tennis Shield recently.

At the start of the 2023 year, Kingswood hosted our second annual pre-season Water Polo Clinic from 13 – 14 January 2023. Last year the clinic was open to a full age compliment of water polo players. This year, we decided to shift our focus to junior players, which meant that the clinic aimed at girls in the U10 – U13 age divisions.
