Thank you to the Hartzenberg family for presenting Kingswood with the Hartzenberg Inter House Cricket Trophy which will be presented to the winners of the interhouse cricket competition each year. The first winners of the trophy – Gane House!

This past weekend the Kingswood boys 1st squash team competed in the Western Province Youth Squash & Peter Furstenberg Stayers’ Festival. Two of our Kingswood girls 1st team players joined the invitational side (Suikerbossies).
Most people don’t know, but to retain its integrity, a hockey asto needs to be resurfaced every 10 – 12 years. The City Lords Astroturf (officially opened in 2007) was already due, but Covid meant some delays to the process.
A large contingent of Kingswood players, from U11 all the way up to U19, attended the Eastern Province Squash trials which were held over three rounds.
This past weekend a number of our Kingswood pupils took part in the first of three Get Out and Run trails at Langley park.
Our pupils volunteered their Sunday to help marshal and assist in this community event which seeks to get our local community out into nature and more familiar with their surrounds.
We congratulate Kingswood pupils, Ross Liddell and Jean-Luc Basson on being selected to represent the Eastern Province for Hockey.
