At our end of term Assembly yesterday afternoon we handed out our Sports Awards for the second term. Congratulations to all pupils who were awarded for their contributions to our winter sporting programme. Assemblies such as these give us the platform to acknowledge the efforts and passion that our pupils display in the sporting sphere.

The Kingswood Memorial Chapel was opened in 1962 with over 2,000 people present. On Sunday we celebrated this milestone with a special service in the Chapel. There were also a number of reunion groups in attendance – 1960-62 and 1970-72.

Our Senior School recently put on the production of the The Little Shop of Horrors to sold out audiences. We asked our HOD of Drama, Mrs Jess Wright to write a reflection on this experience after the Covid-19 pandemic had put an end to live theatre performances for over two years.
Our Senior Netball Girls brought the HEAT across the board yesterday afternoon culminating in a nail-biting 1st Team match against DSG.
