60th Chapel Anniversary Service

The Kingswood Memorial Chapel was opened in 1962 with over 2,000 people present. On Sunday we celebrated this milestone with a special service in the Chapel. There were also a number of reunion groups in attendance – 1960-62 and 1970-72.

Little Shop of Horrors a Roaring Success

Our Senior School recently put on the production of the The Little Shop of Horrors to sold out audiences. We asked our HOD of Drama, Mrs Jess Wright to write a reflection on this experience after the Covid-19 pandemic had put an end to live theatre performances for over two years.

Dr Emmanuel Taban visits Kingswood College

This morning our Kingswood pupils were fortunate enough to attend a talk in our Kingswood College Memorial Chapel by Dr Emmanuel Taban. While the talk centred on his own life journey, the true power of Dr Taban’s talk was the fact that he told our pupils to not only be dreamers, but to be doers. The road to success is not an easy one. Many obstacles will inevitably come our way. It is how we choose to face those obstacles, which will predict our true success.

2022 Neil Aggett Memorial Lecture

On Tuesday afternoon, 15 March 2022, the annual Neil Aggett Memorial Lecture was delivered at Kingswood College. The lecture takes place each year to celebrate the life of Dr Neil Aggett and is held to honour his legacy. This year we are lucky enough to have our speaker join us at Kingswood College again to deliver their speech in person. Our speaker for 2022 was Zapiro, well-know political satirist.
