The annual Kingswood Golf Day in Johannesburg took place on Friday at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club. Wonderful golfing conditions and the much-loved Kingswood spirit made for a wonderful day!
Guy Bladen (OK 2007) joined the family farming business with his father, Geoff Bladen (OK 1974) in 2019, and together they have grown the business,and continue to go from strength to strength.
The Pam Golding Properties, Garden Route, Northern Cape and Karoo Regional Gold Club Awards were recently held at the Kurland Estate. Kingswoodian sisters, Lauren Meyer (OK 2011) and Andrea Moolman (nee Meyer OK 2014) were both recipients of various awards.
On Sunday, the 31st of April, the Midlands Branch of the OK Club hosted a day of cricket and family fun at The Mill Cricket Ground in Bedford. This idyllic cricket field is on Spring Grove, home to the Ainslie family.
On the 30th of March, Agri Eastern Cape (Agri EC) selected their first Young Farmer Committee at a golf day in Port Alfred. Old Kingswoodians were selected as both Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
The first Kingswoodian Club get-togethers of 2023 in the Western Cape took place last week. These included a luncheon in the winelands as well as a meet and greet at The Cape Town Sixes. Great fun was had by all.
Last weekend, Kingswood celebrated the Class of 1963’s 60th reunion. The weekend included several highlights including a braai, a trip to Commem as well as a delicious dinner. It was a weekend to remember!
Lord Peter Hain joins the Kingswood Foundation and guests for a relaxed, intimate evening in aid of the Legends Fund on the 8th of March 2023.
Last weekend, Kingswood welcomed the class of 1983 back on campus to enjoy in a weekend of festivities.
At the Old Kingswoodian Club AGM held on the 11th March, an Honorary Old Kingswoodian award was made to a much loved Kingswoodian; Mrs Shirley Fletcher.
