Thank you to the Hartzenberg family for presenting Kingswood with the Hartzenberg Inter House Cricket Trophy which will be presented to the winners of the interhouse cricket competition each year. The first winners of the trophy – Gane House!
Allan Keartland (OK 1950) visited Kingswood during the recently held parents’ week. Melanie (OK 1982), his daughter, brought him down from Johannesburg to not only visit his Alma Mater but to visit his granddaughter Panama who is currently enrolled at Kingswood – yes three generations.

Sunday, 14 November 2021 was the annual district Remembrance Day Parade. Representatives from Kingswood College (Senior and Junior School) as well as the Old Kingswoodian Club laid wreaths in remembrance during the parade. Remembrance Day serves to commemorate all those who have died in conflict in the service of freedom.
On Friday Brian Stocks (OK 1965) presented a Centenary 1st XV rugby jersey to the school on behalf of his son Wayne (OK 1994) who represented the KC 1st XV in Kingswood’s centenary year, 1994.

Our Matric class of 2021 were given their Old Kingswoodian Ties and welcomed into the Old Kingswoodian family at our annual OK Club Tie Presentation Ceremony yesterday evening.
Congratulations to Thembi Mangwana (OK ’17) who has been selected to play for Tel Aviv Heat, Israel’s First Professional Rugby team. This year the Tel Aviv Heat will take part in the inaugural season of Rugby Europe Super Cup.
One person who is almost synonymous with The Wyvern itself, is Ms Cornelia Sandi. 35 years ago, in 1986, Ms Sandi began her Kingswood journey when she was hired by Mr and Mrs Tommy and Kay Hartzenberg, who, at the time were the managers of The Wyvern. From the very beginning, Ms Sandi began to weave herself into the lives and fabric of the Kingswood family.
