Back by popular demand – Old Kingswoodian versus Old Andrean Cricket at the Mill in Bedford is happening on Saturday, the 13th of April. Bring the family along – and enjoy a day of cricket, laughter, good food and better company under the oak trees at the foot of the picturesque mountains.
The OK Club held two well-attended events in the Western Cape over half term. It was wonderful to catch up with our Kingswood family in Cape Town, Stellenbosch and surrounding areas.
On Friday the Botswana Branch of the Kingswoodian Club organised the very first Botswana Golf Day in Gaborone. With a full field of golfers, and a packed function thereafter, the day was a great success!
The OK Club hit the road, and headed off to the Southern Cape to meet up with OKs, current parents, prospective parents and friends in Plettenberg Bay and Knysna.
On the 14th of December, Dr Richard Brown (OK 1984) was recognised for his contributions to the understanding of helicopter aerodynamics.
Warne Rippon (OK 1984) is a passionate conservationist, and has been recognised for his exemplary work within the field as one of six finalists for the Beretta and SCI Foundation Conservation Leadership Award.

On Saturday, College Head, Mr Leon Grové joined various stakeholders at the Makhanda Education Summit, to celebrate the strides made in achieving the goal of turning our city in to a Centre for Educational Excellence.
Charlie Purdon (OK 2008) and Mark Mutuku (OK 2016) met up in San Diego. Both Charlie and Mark are involved in rugby union in the USA.
