Dr Colleen Vassiliou and Carey Hobson visited Gaborone, Botswana during the second weekend in February to attend two school expos as well as to host a Kingswood get-together in the city.
Our 1st Boys took part in the Vides Cup tournament in East London this past weekend.
On Friday 14th February 12 of our elite athletes participated at the Sarah Baartman High School Championships which took place at the Westbourne Oval athletics track in Port Elizabeth.
This past weekend the Kingswood boys and girls 1st teams competed in the annual Dave Hodgson Squash Festival. Hosted by DSG and SAC this festival attracts the top teams in the Eastern Cape and Border regions.
Last Thursday we had the privilege of welcoming Pembroke House from Kenya to Grahamstown to play a cricket fixture against our boys. Last Thursday a group of our Kingswood staff attended a half day workshop led by Inspire Africa, a group who live by their tagline ‘creating the future today’ with their Inspire S.T.E.A.M. Drone Programme.
